Try another chemo drug? Medically stable, but no positive progression.

    Decision Point

Cancer was continuing to grow albeit very slowly. Docs suggested another more aggressive chemo.

3 different chemo drugs with little to show. Time to consider other resources.

    Decision Point

Investigated clinical trials. Identified as good candidate. Did not meet protocol for first investigation. Qualified for second clinical trial (500 miles away).

Glucose now under control with low carb diet and 4x daily glucose checks. Insulin provided, but not used at this point.

    Oh No

Latest scan shows that the clinical trial drug is not working effectively. Tumor growth of up to 40% in just 8 weeks. Ended clinical trial. Time for more decisions.
