Had the decision made for me due to more cancer being found.

    Decision Point

Had hoped for a lumpectomy, but due to additional cancer being found I have to have a mastectomy.

    Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

My mastectomy was medically smooth and the care givers fine. I just felt the lost deepy and cannot find anyone who feels the same. There where many things that I have gone thru in this week post mastectomy that had not been explained to me, like the swelling and pain, the sentintnel node pain and swelling. It has not been easy for me. You can't get comfortable can't sleep and it just goes on and on...
