    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I am currently in a clinical trial of folfurinox with LDE225. While the treatment has been relatively successful (I am in partial remission) it is not for sissies. LDE 225 seems to have no side effects (I take it once a day in pill form) the chemo (once every two weeks) leaves me greatly fatigued and somewhat nauseous and it lasts basically from the Tuesday I receive treatment through the remainder of the week.. I also have some neuropathy in my feet and hands. But hey - it's a small price to pay for the results I've gotten and the way I feel during the week I don't have chemo!

    Easy to Do: Strongly Disagree
    Minimal Side Effects: Disagree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Disagree

    Weight loss

    Side Effects

I have a non functioning gall bladder so I have cut back on fats and it's hard to gain weight or stay stable without fats in your diet. The gall bladder problem is related to a stent I have in my liver - not directly to the cancer.
