    MRI

    Procedure or Surgery

I had a small panic attack at the beginning, because you are placed face down on area, with face and head surrounded by foam support. It felt like I couldn't breathe that way. But I eventually got it under control by thinking of things I had to do in upcoming days. Not a pleasant experience, but necessary.

    PET-scan

    Procedure or Surgery

Worst part was sitting for 1 1/2 hours waiting for the radioactive dye to circulate in blood, so the scan could read it. It was worth it because the results were no cancer anywhere else in body.
