    Misdiagnosed

    Oh No

    Thought we were dealing with pneumonia until a scope was done and the nurse practioner came in and said, "You have cancer."

    External radiation

    Radiation

    I have to drive 2 hrs a day every day to receive treatment since I live in a rural part of the state.

    Eating problems (anorexia)

    Side Effects

    Nauseated and not able to eat or drink even before she was diagnosed.

    Blood sugar, low (hypoglycemia)

    Side Effects

    Blood sugar staying too low. Diabetes medications adjusted to sliding scale to help alleviate this issue.
