    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

My husband has only had one chemo treatment and the side effects were minimal. He had worse side effects from the Neulesta than the chemo itself. It was a long day and anticipating this we packed lots of snacks for hubby. He took the laptop and season 1 of Lost to keep himself busy and I took homework. Next time I need to remember to pack food for myself also. I spent so much time worrying about him I forgot about me.

    Pain

    Side Effects

He had bad pain in his bones on day 2 after the Neulesta shot and again on day 5. We read that taking claratin and alieve the day before and the day of can help prevent it so he will try that next time.
