    Drug or Chemo Therapy

I have had 5 infusions and have found that each one has been different - with #5 the easiest. Don't quite understand why there has been such differing responses as I'm told that every-thing is accumulative - well, why aren't the chemo side effects getting worse? Mind you, I'm glad they haven't just wondering why such variations. One consistent symptom has been being cold, even when the outside temp has been in the 90's. Have had the aches/pains, vision changes, nausea and some vomiting. Will be having radiation 4-6 weeks after completion of chemo #6 which will be this Tuesday, Nov. 6th.

    Procedure or Surgery

I had a radical hysterectomy via the DaVinci and really had no problems. Minimal pain and was discharged the day after surgery. I think I took a total of 2 Vicodin (and one of those was to keep me comfortable on the one trip home) and 2 Tylenol pills. Yes, it did hurt to move, especially getting from lying down to upright position but that got better in 4-5 days. I would highly recommend the DaVinci method, just be sure your doctor is well experienced!
