    1st Symptom

    Oh No

My Dad was always a healthy man. He turned 64 in June, and rarely missed a day of work. On July 5, 2012, he was at work, and began having an unexplained seizure. He had never had anything like that happen before. He was rushed by ambulance to Saint Johns in Tulsa. He stayed there for a week. The doctors did an MRI and CT. They told us there was a cloudy image on the MRI, and it was most likely inflamation. They did a lumbar puncture, and everything was normal. They sent him home with steroids.

    2nd Seizure

    Oh No

August 11, 2012 was my parent's wedding anniversary. They were at home, preparing to go to work for the first time in a month. My Dad had another seizure. He was taken by ambulance back to Saint Johns in Tulsa.

    Procedure or Surgery

The doctors said he had a lesion on his brain, and they would operate to see what it was. On August 16, 2012, an invasive biopsy was performed. They told us the lesion was a tumor.
