    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Had breast pain in December 2011, went to dr, and they said.. maybe drinking too much caffeine. I had a mammgogram in September 2011, all was fine. 6 weeks later discovered a huge lump in right breast. Diagnosed with triple negative lobular breast cancer, stage 3... very scared.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Had 4 months of Adriamiacin, Cytoxin then Taxol... side effects suck.. lost every piece of hair...lots of bone pain after nuelasta shot, neuropathy in ball of feet and toes, fuzzy brained... which stinks when you're still working full time. I had just started my job in December of 2011, and was diagnosed pretty much 2 weeks later. Just signed up for insurance on 1/1/12.....yikes! Finished chemo the end of May, and was discussing bilateral mastectomy...

    Double Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

I had a bilateral mastectomy on June 20th. Took 6 weeks off of work. The thing that bothered me most (other than looking in the mirror) was the drain tubes... It took a while to look in the mirror too... no hair, no boobs, toenails popping off...
