I think that chemotherapy is the first step and I am concerned that surgery will be offered as first step

    Decision Point

I have been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma via ultrasound and biopsies. Lymph nodes tested positive for metastatic adenocarcinoma. I am triple negative. Recent CT scan of thorax and upper abdomen did not show cancer. I am a lung cancer survivor. I had a pneumenectomy in 2011. I had bronchioalveolar carcinoma which is more common in non smoking women. I have survived 12 years since diagnosis at age 50.
