Stay in Pembrokeshire or go to Cardiff

    Decision Point

Cerys had a neutropenic sepsis in her lungs & was on a ventilator, which was near to 100%,working flat out,but this was not enough.Stay & she would die,or go to Cardiff, the hospital there had a high frequency oscillating ventilator. This being Wales we got there, only to find this ventilator was 20 years old,it was older that Cerys. Cerys died a few days after transferring, away from her birth County, family & friends, her last hours spent with Mum Dad Brother & strangers.

    Loss

Cerys & her family believed that the NHS in Wales would give her back her health, it failed.
