    External radiation

    Radiation

It turns out that the radiation is the treatment that gave me and still giving me the hardest time and toughest pain. my throat is killing me, the dryness in my mouth, incluiding the palates, the gums, the tongue (the tongue pain is the most severe by far), the lips, etc. It's the kind of thirst that's just impossible to quench. My skin in the area looks like it's been deep fried, whipped, and hung out to dry. The list goes on, but for me radiation is the killer..........by the way I had them every day for 33 days................Better Luck To You.

    Painless Experience: Strongly Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Disagree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Disagree

    Weight loss

    Side Effects

As far as weight, I started out at 185 lbs and right now I'm down to 135 lbs and trying hard as I can to force these nutrition drinks down my throat.........it's very hard, because they're not very tasty and i find them quite filling..........I use the Ensure or Boost knock-off that CVS carries. It comes in Strawberry, Vanilla, and Chocolate and each 8 oz can has 350 calories. I've been experimenting with different regular food every day, but having a hard time coming up with something that I can swallow, or that has taste to it, being my taste buds have been deep fried by the radiation treatments (33). Good Luck To All of You.
