    Surgery

    Procedure or Surgery

Total Abdominal Hysterectomy located MMMT tumor. Eight weeks later I had 32 lymph nodes removed (robotic surgery), and they were all clear.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

After some bumps in the road, I am ready to start round 4 of 6 - Carbo / Taxol. I've found that side effects tend to hit about day 3 after chemo, and serious fatigue lasts for 6 or 7 days after that. I feel much better after about day 10, but still get fatigued, since I am working while I go through treatments.

    Easy to Do: Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Neutral/NA
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Disagree

    Remission

    Celebration

Four months post treatment - CT scan is good - shows 3 pockets of fluid where lymph nodes had been, but nothing serious. CA 125 is a 7.6. Life is good!

    Lymphedema

    Side Effects

Swelling in left leg. Seeing a Physical Therapist next week, but this seems more of an inconvenience than anything else.
