Mastectomy
Procedure or Surgery
I was not prepared for the shock after surgery. I know my doctor explained what he would do, but I didn't think it would look so bad. I know they needed to take alot of skin with the breast and stretch the skin so that they could close, but still bothers me when I look in the mirror, or shower.
External radiation
Radiation
Today I had my 5th treatment with 28 more to go. Not sure if I will experience side effects, or if it will impact my daily life.
