    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Receiving the diagnosis from a secretary over the phone on a Friday night with no one to talk to was horrible. I was in shock and had so many questions... no body to ask and no body to answer.

    Mastectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

My surgeons were brilliant and the entire hospital staff was great. I just got a bad infection after I got home and it really was hard on me. I recovered from the surgery itself really well. It took over a month to start to feel better after the infections and I am still not 100%.

    Went as Expected: Strongly Agree

    Other

    Other Care

I am doing lots of energy work, meditation and nutritional therapies. Trying to create a cancer free environment inside myself. Good healthy diet and exercise are key to helping me with my long term recovery goals.
