removal of fluid from right Pleural Cavity

    Procedure or Surgery

3 liters of fluid removed from pleural cavity took 6 days. pain excrutiating. do not remember much of the hospital stay after major surgery. no tumors nor lesions found in pleural cavity. ovarian cancer is primary site. cancer was in fluid. 1-1/2 wks in hospital then transported to rehab to get strength back. still experience back pain at tube insertion site and at camera insertion site.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

Nothing can be planned at chemo week. Neulasta shot eventually progesses to be very painful. Found Claritin helps with the pain. Begin to get strength back after a week and appetite.
