I was working in clinic while the MRI was taking place, and I pulled up his scan as soon as it was complete. I immediately saw the tumor and the midline shift in the brain and basically collapsed. Procedure or Surgery

He underwent craniotomy on 11/19 to remove the bulk of the tumor. They initially thought was that the mass was only inflammation, and the cause was mysterious. However, one week later, the final pathology came back as a rare mix of cells, mostly consistent with anaplastic astrocytoma.
