    Mastectomy?

    Decision Point

Lumpectomy had clean margins but there was more than one tumor in the tissue that was removed as well as satellite cells. Doctor feels it may be risky not to have mastectomy, however is not insisting or even necessarily recommending it. I will definitely have radiation, possibly chemo (yet to be determined pending onco-test). Should radiation not kill whatever might still be lerking in my one breast? I am having a very hard time trying to make a decision here. Any kind of advice (just don't tell me what to do) would be greatly appreciated !!!
