Dr. said if I had to have cancer at least I have the good kind...what is that? Is there one?

    Oh No

I have Chronic Lymphocitc Leukemia, and now I know that if you have to have cancer, it is not as bad as most. I know that I will die WITH it not OF it. Meaning that the cancer itself will not likely kill me. I will most likely have a massive infection that my body can't fight off because of the CLL. I have had chemo once, and now I am in chemo again, and nearly done. I have a port that was recently placed...for the second time, which took 3 surgeries, please, those of you that might be reading this and considering a port, don't consider this as normal and be frightened away from it. Nothing much goes normal for me the first time. My name is Margaret Ann Davis, but I have recently changed it to.."Margaret "anything-that-can-go-wrong-will" Davis. Actually I trust in God too much to really mean that seriously, but if I didn't, I might take that a lot more seriously. God bless each and every one of you that is going through anything related to cancer, or if you are a caregiver reading this. I will pray for you.

    Nausea/Vomiting

    Side Effects

This time I have really just had severe nausea for a week, and the IVIG has helped keep the sideffects to a mimimum, I guess. The Neulasta causes a lot of pain for a week or more, but I have tried to convince myself that by rebuilding my wbc's it is worth the pain.
