    Diagnosed

    Oh No

Really thought it was a cyst. Doctor even thought nothing to worry about until biopsy came back positive for cancer. Really thought I was having a nigtmare and someone needed to wake me up. My daughter was getting married in 4 months and I couldn't imagine how to get through this and still be strong enough for her and final details of wedding.

    Axillary Lymph Node Dissection

    Procedure or Surgery

This surgery very painful and recovery from was not as expected. 5 injections prior to surgery almost made me pass out and I am one that can tolerate pain. Ended up with infection under my arm and was in pain for 3 weeks after surgery durng which time doctor had started my chemotherapy on top of it.

    Lumpectomy

    Procedure or Surgery

The surgery went well and came back with clear margins however the tisue wasnt taken from correct area so I had to go in for another surgery to remove breast because of my breast size another lumpectomy would have disfigured me to pont of not worth saving the breast. I also didnt feel comfortable at this point in not having a mascetomy.
