    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I had my mamograms like I should. Never missed one. It seems like all of a sudden I felt a "band" across the top of my breast. Diagnosed with stage IIIb. I honestly thought my life was over.

    Breast Reconstruction (Flap)

    Procedure or Surgery

I was one of the few that this surgery did not work on. There was a blood flow issue. It has been 1 1/2 years since that surgery. I have trouble accepting still that I only have one breast. I am going to investigate and talk with my oncologist about any other surgery that might be available.
