Problem with doctor
Oh No
inflammatory breast cancer mestatic found, lymph nodes hurting, throat swollen,. These I found from self examination. I was going to a clinic and needed a referral for exams/tests to get with oncologists. The clinic hee hawd around 2 months before they got me in for breast test. Hospital took over after that and went smooth.
Infection
Side Effects
Many. Most noticeable for doc to stop chemo was toenails turning black. took one month off for them to grow out and burns on bottom of feet to heal up a bit.
Cancer is shrinking
Celebration
the petscan prior to mastectomy showed that the cancer had shrunk from chemo in the thyroid, lung, and other lymph nodes than my left arm. Leaving me with only one minor surgery to remove cancer instead of many. Boyfriend and i went to xmas at the zoo to celebrate, was beautiful the lights and bonfires and hot chocolate and train ride at night.
Mastectomy
Procedure or Surgery
In one day , out the next. The surgery pain at home was much less than the cancer pain in my breast area had been.
Chemotherapy
Drug or Chemo Therapy
yes had side effects and had medication for each one from doctor that was effective many times before i had side effect or for less prominent for majority side effects next day they had me help called in at pharmacy. the changes were well worth the cancer shrinkage obtained to live with the side effects.
