To have a mastectomy or lumpectomy

    Decision Point

The lumpectomy with the radiation has the same success as the mastectomy so I chose to try and save my breasts. I had just had a complete hysterectomy the month before my diagnosis and wasn't ready to face the loss of any more "girly parts".

    Implant chemotherapy port

    Procedure or Surgery

The port was done in a hospital with my surgeon and still unable to get blood from it at all. There really isn't another choice the THC chemo is so aweful for your skin that when they put it in my arm before I could use the port it left a four inch burned mess up my veins. sooo port it is.

    Internal radiation (Brachytherapy)

    Radiation

The oozing of fluids from the incision was gross and it was quit uncomfortable to sleep. But, I would choose this type again.

    Chemotherapy

    Drug or Chemo Therapy

HTC made me sick for a few days like having a really bad hangover and the flu at the same time and much more tired than usual.
