    Cancer is back/Recurred

    Oh No

    Shocked - and also wondering "Will this keep happening every year and a half?" So disillusioned.

    Internal radiation

    Radiation

    New radiation - 6 surgical procedures - all under general anesthesia - needles inserted around tumor - off to radiation - back to OR to remove needles. twice a week for 3 weeks. 1st one June 2.

    Painless Experience: Disagree
    Minimal Side Effects: Disagree
    Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Strongly Disagree

    Fatigue (tiredness)

    Side Effects

    Ended up in hospital with A-Fib although my heart was normal.

    Save the urethra or have ileostomy.

    Decision Point

    Tumor surrounding urethra - since there's no guarantee for any method of dealing with the tumor - opted to save the urethra and have 6 surgical procedures to "seed" the tumor with radiation

    Interstitial Brachytherapy - 6 surgeries in 3 weeks - yet to happen starting June 2, 2014
