    Diagnosed

    Oh No

I was diagnosed in October 2012, some days I am still in fog. I feel some days this is all a bad dream.

    External radiation

    Radiation

Well I started radiation treatments on Jan 14, the treatment itself is painless. However, the ink markings caused me to break out, then they used to tape over the markings and that caused a skin reaction. Went back for tatoos and for me that was painful. The next day one of the tatoos resembled my mole and the technician couldn't tell the difference and remarked my skin again!

    Painless Experience: Agree
    Minimal Side Effects: Neutral/NA
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Disagree

    Radiation

My boob feels like its burning all the time. I have only had 14 treatments with 20 more to go. No blisters/burns on skin yet. Progressively fatigue each week, feels like I am always running.

    Radiation

Today I finished 35 radiation treatments. It was not a pleasant experience. My breast is badly burned as well as under my arm. Can't wear a bra yet because the area is irritated.. Extremely fatigued, had to take last 2 weeks off work. But thank God aim here!
