Pain medicine - Adrienne

Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Follicular Variant (also called Mixed Papillary-Follicular Variant). Posted on August 8, 2011 View this journey (4 Experiences)

After my lung biopsy surgery in March 2010, I had to take a variety of pain medications. That was an extremely hard recovery. And this past January, when the cancer actually fractured an inch and half of my rib, I was again taking strong meds to help with pain management, but after the radiation therapy the pain was much less after about 3 days. So much more tolerable. Prior to the radiation therapy, I couldn't even lift a casserole dish out of the oven. The pain was that intense, but thank goodness the one radiation treatment I had worked and no bone lesions are present at this time.
