Oh No Associated with Adenocarcinoma, Esophagus Cancer. Posted on November 9, 2018 View this journey (2 Experiences)

Went to the hospital ER after a couple weeks of feeling an ache in his upper abdomen. We (inc our PCP) were thinking gallbladder or possible ulcer. A CT, barium swallow & endoscopy w/biopsy and a needle biopsy of retroperinteal lymphnodes we were told that he has adenocarcinoma esophageal cancer stage 4b. Never drank, smoked & rarely had heartburn. We were told (according to his barium swallow) he had silent reflux which probably caused the cancer.
