26 Jun 2013 Had re-excision of original lumpectomy site to get better margins AND removal of the duct that was found to be positive for DCIS. That meant removal of the duct and a portion of the nipple. Since the wound from the first surgery healed so well (there was no scar near the areola at all!) I felt pretty good about the chances of having a normal looking nipple afterward.

Went as Expected: Agree
Minimal Recovery: Disagree
Minimal Side Effects: Disagree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Neutral/NA
