Drug or Chemo Therapy - Arlene1372
Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Anal Cancer. Posted on January 20, 2013 View this journey (6 Experiences)
My drug therapy was done over the 1st 4 days, when I started my radiation. I had a "baby-bottle" device attached to a catheter (?) and the "juice" slowly entered my system over 2 days. Then, I went back & they installed a 2nd bottle for a further 2 days. That was IT -- until after my 1st block of Radiation was finished.
After a few weeks healing time, Chemo & Radiation started again. I again had to go for my "baby-bottle" of drugs. 2 of them over 4 days. No having to sit or lie around the Chemotherapy Dept for hours or days. It was such a depressing place, I was glad I only had to go there a few times!!!
