Lost loved one - Ashera

Loss Associated with Poorly Differentiated Carcinoma, Unknown Primary. Posted on August 9, 2017 View this journey (15 Experiences)

My beautiful son Scott, had been fighting his own cancer all during mine. Brain stem glioma - inoperable. He was one of the amazingly few that survived nine years. The day I was diagnosed in May 2015 - was the very day he had been at Mayo getting the new he was once again out of remission and it was growing fast. So he spent precious time with me helping that summer - and then several months later went on hospice care. He died last year at the end of February. I was unable to be with him - or travel to Houston for the memorial service. Cancer so sucks big time.
