40-years as a self-employed performing singer, songwriter, author, and voice-over artist - now jobless and careerless. Quality of life struggle... career path ends at a steep and sudden cliff.
Speech seriously affected by surgery of tongue and jaw.

    Why can't you continue as a songwriter and author? I understand that your speech is seriously affected, but you still have your mind and hands, right? Don't stop doing what you CAN do because of the parts you are no longer able to do. You can write it...someone else can sing it. I wish you the best in your journey.

    Excellent! You can't let it stop you. You may not be able to do all that you did before, so now you have to learn to adjust and figure out what you still can do...and do it better than ever! You'll figure it out. Good luck!
