Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL). Posted on April 1, 2016 View this journey (1 Experience)

I began treatment about two and a half months ago. My WBC was 14 in March of 2015 and was up to 200 by January 2016. I was miserable, so my doctor and I decided to start treatment, as I obviously have an aggressive cancer. The side effects are bearable, but I was exhausted, achy, upset stomach and bowels, headaches, etc. My dose was lowered and the side effects haven't been as bad, but are still here. However, my WBC is now at 14.5!!! All in all, I would recommend trying this medicine. I will eventually have to have a bone marrow transplant. I am ready to FIGHT and be healthy again :)
