Cancer has spread/Metastasized - Bellamore

Oh No Associated with Intrahepatic, Bile Duct Cancer. Posted on November 23, 2012 View this journey (11 Experiences)

My latest scan shows that I have developed three new tumors. They look like little hens clustered around the mother tumore. Sigh!!!! I have a Hepatic Artery Infusion Pump that we haven't been using while things were stable. We're pulling out the big guns nows.

I know liver cancer never really goes away I was just hopping that one big "stable" tunmor would all I would have to deal with.

I've been blessed, but I think this is a heads up to start getting ready for the end.

And exactly where is it that you begin

That stinks! Are they going to continue with the pump now? Or is there a change in approach?

I'm so sorry that your scan is showing more activity. It's never anything we want to see. I'm with FreeBird, will your doctors now change approach?

As for where to begin getting ready for the end.. that's one of life's mysteries. Please let me know if you find an answer :) Stay strong.

we haven't used the pump in a couple of months. giving it a rest for just something just like this. from here we start with low dosage and slowly up it and then add systemic chemo. treatments are every other week.

I feel great just bummed out. It will be a year December 12.

Frustrating. I thought by 2012, they'd have nano-ninjas that could go in, find cancer wherever it is, and swiftly kick its rear end. I hope you give it another knockout with your next round.
