My surgery was in 2007 and I still have trouble with nausea and vomiting. I have bad bile reflux.

I keep my reflux in check with peppermint tea. This year I am experimenting with growing my own. I also control "dumping" with ginger tea. I use that only when I know I am going to eat something naughty.
Unfortunately I am an emotional barfer. That is I vomit when I am anxious, sad or angry. I also vomit at the sight of blood. I think this might be because I was taught to suppress all emotion. However I have found out that vomiting has become more painful since surgery. Have you found that to be true. I still choke two or three times a week.
