Blurred vision - bp440

Side Effects Associated with Hodgkin Disease. Posted on September 15, 2012 View this journey (19 Experiences)

My husband's vision has changed dramatically since his last eye check up one year ago (and change in lenses). He found out yesterday that he has cataracts in full bloom (possibly due to the steroids this past year). His opthamologist is concerned that he has acute myopic changes and has ordered a blood sugar evaluation. The oncologist feels it may resolve on its own in a few months, but ordered the blood work just in case. It too can be related to the steroids as it effects muscles in the eye as well. Lots of different theories on this one.
