External radiation - Callapt
Radiation Associated with Colorectal (Colon) Cancer. Posted on January 10, 2012 View this journey (7 Experiences)
I had radiation treatments that were preceeded with a concentrated hit of chemo that made me feel pretty miserable. As I began recovering from the hit of chemo, the radiation began wearing me down. I was radiated below the waist and had some burning that made life a bit uncomfortable. I think that the radiation was scheduled to last 6 weeks but I think I ony made it through 5 weeks before the treatments had to be stopped. They said that they had accomplished what they wanted to do in the 5 weeks so it wasn't a problem.
