The first Chemothery regime that I was on was called MAC. I think after having your body injected with these poisonous drugs for the first time you go into a complete shock. My first treatment was absolutely horrible. The anxiety and nausea was definitely present. I was afraid, anxious and didn't know how to feel. I was very fortunate to have such great supporters, my family. However, I got through it and new what to expect for my next treatment. I had my Xanax ready and anti nausea medication and I have to say the second time around was a little easier on me. Every treatment after that became easier and easier except for the nausea. But, four regimines later I found a wonderful cocktail to help my nausea. I found that Kytril, along with a combination of Aterol, benadryl and Haldol (ABH) works wonders.
