Radiation - caralyn

Radiation Associated with Endometrial (Uterine) Cancer. Posted on June 12, 2019 View this journey (8 Experiences)

I am praying that the external beam radiation and 5 brachytherapy sessions will help my reoccurring cancer. I really appreciate the women who responded to my question! Excellent info. from both of them. I am pretty new on what next and trying to find out how to respond so that the people I want to thank see it. Ivy, such good ideas! you are right about demanding the attention I need so I can understand my cancer and make the right decision as to treatment like I should have. I had been feeling guilty. it was my fault that that my cancer came back. I needed someone to explain what a chance I was taking. I would imagine 5 brachytherapy treatments are used for reocurrence instead of the 3 that are sometimes used.
With my stage 2 grade 2 cancer which had lymphovascular invasion, 90% of myometrial invasion and with cervical stroma involvement, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD BY MY DOCTOR I MUST HAVE FURTHER TREATMENT. Thank you so much.
