Targeted therapy - Caroli
Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Lung Cancer. Posted on March 4, 2012 View this journey (6 Experiences)
About two years after they removed the lung there were more spots on the lung.
My Mom took Irressa for about a year it was shrinking the tumors and doing well then it stopped working. So they put her on Tarceva, she was on it for about two months. It was killing her. She just sat on the couch or was in the bathroom. Then I did research on the internet and found it was only going to give her about 4 extra months to live but no quality of life. She stopped taking it against the doctors orders.
Her cancer is slow growing so we felt we had more options to leave it alone.
