Procedure or Surgery Associated with Thymoma. Posted on January 23, 2014 View this journey (2 Experiences)
I had removal of my thymus on December 12, 2013. What was to be a two day hospital stay turned into two weeks of the worst pain I ever experienced in my life. I had some complications which required two additional surgeries to repair a nicked lymph duct. I have been out of work since September 2013 when I had my first symptoms of severe chest pain. At first the doctors thought it was leukemia. I am very grateful to have survived this ordeal and I am trying to get back on my feet financially. I am searching for any programs that may be able to help.
