Fluid removed from lung - cheryncp

Procedure or Surgery Associated with Adenocarcinoma, Lung Cancer. Posted on October 11, 2015 View this journey (12 Experiences)

I first had a thoracentisis where they drained the fluid from my lung. It was not painful and I had no recovery time. Everything went well but the fluid did build back up and I had to undergo a pluerodesis (drained and sealed the lung) that procedure was a bit tougher but still nothing unbearable.

Went as Expected: Strongly Agree
Minimal Recovery: Agree
Minimal Side Effects: Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Agree
