Chemotherapy - cincygirl

Drug or Chemo Therapy Associated with Breast Cancer. Posted on December 6, 2011 View this journey (4 Experiences)

Every 2 weeks-Adriamycin/Cytoxan for 4 rounds then Taxol for 4 rounds. Neulasta just to make it even more fun. Good times. I was actually very lucky and was able to manage my side effects very well. It was not nearly as bad as I'd imagined it would be. Five years of tamoxifen will finish next year. Counting down the days!

Your treatment sounds like the exact same treatment I'm about to start in about 2 weeks. Except no Neulasta. I'm not sure what that is. I had my lumpectomy 3 weeks ago and lymph node removal ( i have 2 positive nodes) My margins were clean but not by much so I have to go in for more surgery next week and then I can begin chemo. I hope you are handling the side effects well and hope you dont mind if I ask you questions from time to time. Good luck and God Bless!
