Ultrasound guided core biopsy - cranburymom

Procedure or Surgery Associated with Invasive (Infiltrating) Ductal Carcinoma . Posted on November 1, 2011 View this journey (11 Experiences)

First off, I had no idea that Radiologist is the one who go through the procedure. He was able to relax me and we did not stop talking. Watching the screen focused me somewhat, but I did not take his joke well during the process :-|
But that's OK, I think. I felt pain for the first 15 sec, but then it was smooth sailing. I wanted him to have sufficient samples for diagnosis, so I assure him that I do feel great.

It may not be a bad idea to tell a patient, how many physicians are involving and their roles and boundary (who tells you what and how much, etc.).

Ice pack they gave me really helped me recover fast. They had a very cute tiny pack, which I will keep it forever. A little thing make us very happy.
