Procedure or Surgery Associated with Colorectal (Colon) Cancer. Posted on February 1, 2019 View this journey (1 Experience)

On January 26th, 2019 I went in for surgery to remove my tumor, sigmoid colon and 5 inches of my rectum. I was fortunate to have had an amazing surgeon Dr. Omar Marar take care of me. He was able to do it laparoscopic and reconnect me where I did not even need a colostomy bag. Passing gas and having bowel movements a few days post Op was scary. I am 14 days post Op....and still sore and quite tired.

Went as Expected: Strongly Agree
Minimal Recovery: Agree
Minimal Side Effects: Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Agree
