My prognosis is very poor .I was diagnosed with malignant acities, survival 1-4 months .I chose chemo because they tried surgery and my entire stomach was covered with concentrated malignant cells ,and many tumors that were wrapped around other organs, making it impossible to remove without spreading .The chemo is working well .I had a 1-4 month life sentence..tomorrow is the start of the 4 th moth I feel better than ever ,and my hair never fell out .I learned everyone reacts different .

When I was diagnosed (stage IV), I only had 5 months to live and it's been several years now. Your own spirit and will along with current treatments will have a huge impact on your life expectancy. I'm still hoping to dance at my grandson's wedding -- and he's 4! It's always good to have something to look forward to.

Also remember, a lot of the statistics on life expectancy are based on old data and new treatments are developed every year. Neither one of us came with an expiration date stamped on us so let's live while we're here!

Congrats on not losing your hair too.
