August 2009- They removed my upper left lobe. I spent 5 days in the hospital and hated every minute of that stupid chest tube! That weekend I experienced severe pain and was finally readmitted to hospital. They changed my meds and released me. A week later I was still in pain and running a fever now. I think they thought I was a wimp. After 10 days they finally admitted that I had an infection in one of the drainage tube incisions. So I leaked puss for over a month before it cleared up. It didn't heal right and I spent 2 1/2 months in physical therapy to beable to use my arm again.
