External radiation - GregP_WN

Radiation Associated with Hodgkin Disease. Posted on October 3, 2011 View this journey (16 Experiences)

My first experience with Radiation treatments in 1988, the whole process has changed since then, but back then the machines were larger, it was very scary for me, I lost the hair in the back of my head, got some burning in the neck and chest area, but other than that, it was a simple painless process. I got through it much easier than the chemo treatments I took. Radiation was every day, 5 days a week, for 5.5 weeks

Painless Experience: Agree
Minimal Side Effects: Agree
Minimal Impact to Daily Life: Agree
