Hello, I was diagnosed with the same Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma back in February of 2019, but mine also had a rare genetic variation they called ‘double hit’ DHL. Without going into a lot of detail, mine was bad due to being very resistant to chemo, which it was. So after failing to go into remission after two different standard chemo treatments, I qualified to get CAR-T immune therapy As a third line treatment, you can get CAT. They remove Some your own disease fighting T-cells From your blood and send them off where they add some genetic code that will tell your new CAR-T-cells, once they are put back inside you, to recognize the B cell cancer, and it will kill it if everything goes right. This treatment isn’t offered at a lot of cancer treatment facilities, only some of the bigger teaching schools like KU Cancer Center were I went are setup to implement it. If you had the standard line of treatment therapies like chemo and/or bone marrow transplant and your in remission, then great, but if it does come back, check into the CAR-T. I’ve been clear over a year now, and doing great, and my cancer Is gone, not just suppressed. I was stage IV. God Bess, and hope you have a speedy recovery, Steve H.
