Remission - Jeannie

Celebration Associated with Epithelial Ovarian Carcinoma. Posted on January 8, 2018 View this journey (10 Experiences)

Here it is almost 7 years from the dreaded news of September 1, 2011. You have Ovarian Cancer,Stage 4, with mets to your liver, diaphragm, and lymph nodes. I was unable to remove the little dots on your diaphragm, the tumors in your liver, and I only resected some of your lymph nodes because removing more would of caused your legs to swell up. We will take care of them with chemo.
One and 1/2 rounds of Carboplatin and Taxol plus many prayers produced a negative PET! There is always Hope!
