with the pluerex cath it made things a lot easier and unbelievably for my family and I, I stopped prodcuing flui about 6 weeks in to chemo and they removed my drain tube mid February and have not had to put back in - i feel really blessed and lucky - trying to take these victories and not dwell so much on the inevidable

    This is so great to hear ...my mom is abt to start chemo treatment and will meet with the doctor who will do her procedure. She will get the pleural cath and I pray the fluid will stop building. I know it will.
